Learner experience of e-learning (LEX)
'LEX - the learner experience of e-learning'. We conducted this innovative qualitative research study in close partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University. The study concluded in 2006 although we are still running dissemination events due to a high level of interest. The LEX project provides unique insights into how learners across a wide range of sectors and age groups perceive the use of technology in learning and in their everyday life.

Union officer training review
In 2005 we were commissioned to carry out a thorough review of the programme of union professional development training. Methods used for the review included large scale (500+) online and offline surveys, coupled with focus groups and practitioner interviews. The outcomes of the study were reports and policy recommendations for a restructuring and redefinition of the programme.

The object of this programme was to provide an introduction to ICT to people who had previously been put off engaging in formal learning because of their lack of English. This project produced Turkish ICT language materials. Link to materials.
